EEE Lab Assistant
This position is open for recruiting a lab assistant for the Communication Systems laboratory for 2nd year B. Tech Electronics and Computer Engineering. The lab has communication transceiver devices (Software Defined Radios) used to capture and analy s e contemporary RF signals transmitted by 2G, 4G, and 5G cellular base s tations, Wi Fi, and GPS systems. Since the signal processing is performed in the system, the same hardware can be used to generate many kinds of radio waveforms. The S DR based experiments are designed especially for understanding the fundamentals of Digital Signal Processing, Digital Communications and the present day advanced wireless communication access technologies such as 2G, 4G, and 5G.
- Hence the lab assistant should have knowledge on the basics of signal processing, digital communication, and wireless communication. The candidate should be aware of 2G, 3G, and 4G physical layer aspects.
- Knowledge on Linux OS, Python programming, C, and C++ is essential. Having knowledge on SDR and deep learning is a plus.
Educational Qualification: B. Tech/M. Tech with communication and signal processing background.
