Dhaval Monani

Dhaval Monani is a Senior Fellow at Artha Global and IDFC Foundation, the Director of Affordable Housing at Anant National University and a sits on the International Board of the Terwelliger Centre for Innovation in Shelter, USA. He previously co founded We-Build, a platform for self build homes and First Home Realty Solutions, an affordable housing company that has build some of the lowest cost commercial housing in India. He helped set up the Centre for Emerging Market Solutions at the Indian School of Business and was the Country Head for International Housing Solutions, a private equity fund focused on affordable housing. He has helped the Government of Fiji structure their PPP model for social housing and worked closely with the governments of India and Sri Lanka on public housing. He has numerous publications to his credit and was a speaker at the inaugural TED India.

Dhaval has an MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona, was a scholarship student at the Domus Academy in Milan and the University of Wales at Cardiff where he earned a double Masters in Design and a Post Graduate Diploma in Design from the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane.
