Dr. Kumudham Balasubramanian is an Assistant Professor with Mahindra University in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. in the field of French language and literature from the English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad.
Her research interests include French and Francophone literature, Swiss literature written in French, French language teaching, teaching and learning practices.

My thesis is focused on French literature of Switzerland (Francophone literature). In particular it deals with the works (novels, play and essays) of 20th century Swiss writer Charles-Ferdinand Ramuz.
