She did her Master’s in Management Studies from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute, Mumbai University, with a specialization in Finance. She has over three decades of experience in industry and academics.

Industry Work Experience – She started her career in the Treasury Department of National Organic Chemical Industries Ltd, Mumbai. She was heading the Finance and Accounting function at Intergraph Consulting Private Ltd, Hyderabad, a wholly owned subsidiary of Intergraph Corporation USA.

Executive Education (Corporate) – She has been training corporate executives in the areas of Corporate Finance, Corporate Restructuring, Mergers & Acquisitions Performance Measurement, Corporate Governance, Resource Mobilisation, Working Capital Management, Accounting Standards and Corporate Valuation. She has trained more than 5000 executives in various companies such as L&T, ACC, TCS, NEC Corporation, Indus Towers, MRF, Bridgestone, Crompton Greaves, ONGC, HPCL and NTPC.

She has been training and consulting with Board level directors and top management of Public Sector Enterprises in improving their Corporate Governance Practices. She has also consulted with women entrepreneurs on developing sustainable business models and business valuation.

<strong<>Executive Education (Banking & Financial Services) – She has trained nearly 500 bankers on the strategic and risk management aspects of banking. Some of the banks with whom she has trained are – Reserve Bank of India, State Bank of India, Bank of India, Canara Bank, Karur Vysya Bank, Bank of India, Central Bank of India, UCO Bank, United Bank, Punjab National Bank and Oman International Bank. She has conducted a programme on Marketing of Cash Management Solutions for Vysya Bank.</strong<>

Executive Education (Government) – She has trained nearly 300 IAS officers in the areas of Project Finance, Infrastructure Finance and Public Private Partnerships.

Visiting Faculty – She has been a visiting faculty at Indian School of Business and Reserve Bank Staff Training College.
