The CLS has launched Ph.D. programme in Biotechnology and Computational Biology in Fall-2023. The award of Ph.D. degree shall be in recognition of high academic achievements, independent research and application of knowledge to the technical and scientific problems. Creative and productive enquiry shall be the basic concept underlying the research work. Ph.D. programme involves specified course work and credit requirements, publications and a research thesis as per University ordinances.
The thesis shall be the report of research work characterized by either discovery of new facts or a new interpretation of known facts and theory, or an independent design and development, or development of new instrument/technology. The Ph.D. graduates are expected to achieve following outcomes after the completion of degree:

University Fellowship
University will provide a fellowship of Rs. 30,000 per month plus free lodging and boarding on the campus.
