École Centrale School of Engineering
With the core intent of establishing one of the best engineering colleges in India and beyond, Mahindra University École Centrale School of Engineering (MU) was born out of a collaboration between two giants:
Mahindra Group – a leader of the industrial sector in India, and École Centrale Paris – a 180-year-old institute of eminence, instrumental in the progress of technology.
While Mahindra Group is a multinational organisation worth USD 17.8 billion, and 2,00,000 employees across 100 countries, whose businesses are driven primarily by engineering and technology; École Centrale Paris has been the alma mater to prestigious alumni whose contributions to the world have been pivotal: Gustave Eiffel, and founders of many renowned international organisations like Renault, Peugeot, Dior, Michelin, etc.
Having evolved from such illustrious parentage, MU aims to reach the pinnacle of excellence in engineering education by offering industry-aligned undergraduate B.Tech courses that are globally relevant.

A very warm welcome to Mahindra Ecole Centrale School of Engineering (ECSoE). You may be wondering why our name sounds so French! Indeed, we have a vital partnership with the Groupe des Écoles Centrale (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centrale_Graduate_School) which, in English, translates to ‘Central Schools Group’. This group, which is globally renowned for excellence in Engineering education, embraces five Institutions in France and three international schools including ECSoE under its umbrella.
Our graduating students, having gone through our rigorous, interdisciplinary research-centric programs that are at-par with international standards at top schools around the world, are expected to be Global Thinkers and Engaged Leaders – in perfect sync with the Rise Philosophy of the Mahindra Group of industries.
